Romas, Thomas and Joseph

When a Moscow couple - Lyudmila and Andrei Sergeyev - first came to Palanga for a holiday, they could not have imagined what influence this family vacation would have on the history of 20th century literature.

In Palanga, the couple met poet Tomas Venclova, who soon introduced them to his friend Joseph Brodsky…

The film tells about the role Lithuania played in the poet’s life, and about his closest friends – poet Tomas Venclova and physicist Romas Katilius.
